Gaggenau Showroom Paris, 2023

The Gaggenau showroom in Paris Saint-Germain is a collaborative project with architecture firm 1zu33. Our client, Gaggenau, is a luxury kitchen appliance manufacturer, and we aim to showcase the quality and craftsmanship of their products.

Our goal is to provide visitors with an immersive experience that highlights the functionality, elegance, and beauty of Gaggenau’s products. The ground floor includes a ceiling dome over the chef’s table, a wine bar, and a “Soul of Gaggenau” exhibit. The ceiling dome is inspired by the French lightweight construction technique used in other iconic buildings such as the Louvre’s dome, Notre-Dame, and Galeries Lafayette in Paris. The welcome area includes a logo wall made of hot-rolled stainless steel.

To achieve this goal, we take into account the overall design aesthetic and spatial layout created by the architects and strive to implement their ideas as best as possible. We use high-quality materials and finishes throughout the showroom to meet these standards.

Showroom im IFC Tower

The worldwide biggest Gaggenau showroom is an impressive location with 530 square meters. Multifunctional rooms like an exquisite restaurant with luxurious upholstered leather benches as well as a wine tasting room in private atmosphere create an exclusive character. A part of the ceiling with bamboo and a small black forest installation link the Chinese tradition with the origin of Gaggenau. High class oak veneer and massive wood are combined with super mat nano tech high pressure laminate.

Juwelier Hunke, Ludwigsburg, 2017
Showfitting Jewelery Store

The Hunke family wanted sales rooms with a personal character.
Klaus Schurig and his team realized the sales room interior in close cooperation with Hunke family on the bases of the architect’s planning. Even smallest details were discussed passionately with Thomas Hunke.
We used exclusive materials such as:
– Stained oak veneers for the sales desks in the style of makeup tables.
– Acrylic composite material added with safety security glasses.
– Electronic locking system for the jewelry displays and the sales desks.
Soft leather upholstered sales desks and the exclusive jewelry and watches create a pleasant atmosphere. The catering and bar area were embedded in the luxurious sales rooms.
Special thanks to my joiner colleague Thomas Hasselwander and the project management BPP Peter Gerhards and Sven Pölsler for the good cooperation.
Last but not least thanks to Hunke and von Halasz families for the wonderful cooperation.
