Gaggenau, Chicago, 2017Showroom in Merchandise Mart
The Merchandise Mart in Chicago is the one of the world’s largest commercial buildings for luxury custom home furnishing and interior design.
Schurig got the order for all 3 BSH brands in the United States, Gaggenau, Thermador and Bosch.
“Gaggenau makes the difference”. This brand guaranties luxury Made in Germany in the Merchandise Mart.
The showroom design honors the Chicago citizen Mies van der Rohe. Clear vertical lines, high rooms and a sensational view on the Chicago River create a generous character. Wall cladding with travertine stone, counter tops in marble design and a wine shelf made with oak slats follow the Gaggenau brand guaranties. Own showrooms were conducted for the US premium brand Thermador and for Bosch.
Brand conform materials in the US design were used and realized in German quality.
