Klaus Schurig, Director and Owner

My name is Klaus Schurig and I am the owner of the “Schurig GmbH”.
My fascination for wood started at the age of 4, when I began to play field hockey with a wooden stick.
When I was 16 I made an apprenticeship in joinery work. After 10 years working experience, I completed the master school for wood technology in Stuttgart. After this I also made a degree in economics, specialized in handcraft.
One of my personal highlights is traveling the world and building showrooms for events and fairs in New York, Los Angeles, Dubai, China, London and other destinations.
Since I joined the company we developed our quality and reliability skills and reached 100 % customer satisfaction.
The love and passion for our work is the key to our success.

Teamwork

The company employs 25 educated employees in different work areas like joinery, administration and work preparation. We are equipped with the latest technologies in CAD and wood-working machinery.
An excellent and prompt order processing is only possible when the employees work together and support each other. And this is exactly how we work together – as a team.
We employ a lot of employees for many years. Therefore we have a good cooperation and cohesion in the team. The work atmosphere is characterized by the passion for the job.
There is a close communication between the employees in the different work areas.
