In Bönnigheim since 1920
In 1920, the building and furniture joinery Altmann was founded in Bönnigheim. It remained family-owned until 2015.
In 2012, Klaus Schurig joined the management team, and in July 2015 he took over the company as sole Managing Director. In March 2019, Altmann Laden- und Innenausbau GmbH became Schurig GmbH.
For several years we have worked with the IMOS CAD/CAM system and industry software from Kuhnle. This keeps a project fully digital from planning to the finished product. In 2020, we moved into our new company building in Bönnigheim.

Klaus Schurig, Managing Director
At 16, Klaus Schurig began his apprenticeship as a joiner. After ten years of professional experience, he attended the school for master craftsmen and technicians in wood technology in Stuttgart and graduated as a business administrator for the skilled trades.
His personal highlights include trips to projects all over the world, to showrooms and events in Los Angeles, New York, Dubai, China and London.
Our team
Our 34 employees work in production planning, administration and the joinery workshop, supported by CAD and modern woodworking machinery.
Many have been with us for years and form a well-coordinated team. The departments work in close contact with each other, and Klaus Schurig is always ready to listen to everyone.
